Frédéric Sautereau

Thirty-seven-year-old Matata Walet Ali is the chairwoman of the women’s association of the camp. Matata comes from Timbuktu and has been a refugee since February 2012. She is a Tamasheq (i.e. a Tuareg) and she lost both her parents during the Tuareg rebellion of the 1990’s. She hopes for a united and stable Mali.
