Forty-nine-year-old Abdourhamane Saadou. He has been a refugee for three months. He comes from Ouatagouna, northern Mali, at a two days’ walk from the camp. Abdourhamane belongs to the Sonraï ethnic group which is one of the major ethnic groups in northern Mali. According to him, both Islamist militias and Tamasheqs (i.e. Tuaregs – they amount to less than 10% of the population) are accountable for the country's situation.
