Am Mohman, 40, and her son Mohamad, 20 years old. Her son hasn’t spoken since he was paralyzed in 2004. While riding his bicycle to school, 14 year old Mohamed was hit by a shot from an Israeli helicopter conducting an operation in the Zeitoun neighbourhood. A portion of his head was blown off. Mohamad spent three months in an Israeli hospital. Am Mohmad works every day to help her son make progress. Hamas gives the family 450 dollars every quarter.
