Frédéric Sautereau

For 8 years 36-year-old Iman has been a member of the Palestinian Women's Association which has close ties with the PLO. In addition to campaigning for women's rights, the association also militates against Palestinian divisions. Hamas has already banned many of their demonstrations. Once again on 3rd October 2012 Hamas police were there to drive back the few protesters and journalists who had challenged the ban. Hamas seems to be particularly wary of women’s demonstrations.
