Abu Jihad awaits the release of his son, Mohamad. Mohamad’s name is on a list of prisoners who will be released in exchange for Gilad Shalit, an Israeli soldier captured by Palestinian militants and held prisoner in the Gaza Strip since 2006. Mohamad is imprisoned in Israel with several life sentences. He is one of the founding members of the Ezzedine Al- Qassam brigade, a militant wing of the Hamas.
